This week Learning Spanish 4 Kids is creating a Kitchen Object Spanish Lesson & Activity for you to enjoy with your students or children! Since winter is here LS4K created a Fun Indoor Spanish Game and learning lesson for you to play during a Saturday or Sunday. Find the video & instructions below.
"Inside My Kitchen"
1) Use the video below to review & learn some new words in Spanish inside the kitchen. (Teacher or Parent should review before introducing the video to student.) Try learning a few words each weekend, so you don't overwhelm your students.
HOMESCHOOL ACTIVITY
1) Place the items you want to use for the game strategically around the Kitchen normally.
2) Review the video with your student(s) or create laminated flash cards if your familiar pronouncing the words.
3) Give each student a chance to try by themselves finding the objects around the kitchen as you call them out in Spanish.
4) Time each student finding the objects. (Set a fixed time like 10 seconds or allow your students to find the objects in their own time & log the time under their name and set goals for improvement.)
CHILDCARE ACTIVITY
1) Set up the Objects you want to use in the game in the Kitchen area for your students as normal as possible.
2) Review the video with your student(s) or create laminated flash cards if your familiar pronouncing the words.
3) Split your student into two groups.
3) Call each student's name switching back and forth between groups giving each child a turn.
4) Begin calling out the kitchen objects to students.
5) Each student wins a point for their team by finding the correct kitchen objects.
