Color is seen everyday all day in life, so why don't we take a few minutes out of each day to learn them in Spanish. Homeschool Activity 1 - (Clothing Color) Every morning you & your student pick out clothes together start identifying the colors of each item until you complete the outfit. During breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can also use colored food items and complete a meal to play this game.
Homeschool Group Activity 2 - (Color Counter) You can use Markers, Crayons, or Colored Counter Beads with a string. Hold the Markers, Crayons, and Beads up one at a time and ask what the English & Spanish color for each. Once the student answers correctly give that specific color to the student too place inside of a Ziploc bag. At the end of the lesson the student who has the most crayons or markers win!
Classroom Activity 1 - (Clothing Color) Speaking and Identifying lesson Create an easy sentence in Spanish for your students to remember. For example, "Mi camisa es azul" "My shirt is blue" Ask each student in the beginning of the class to identify the color of their shirt in English & Spanish every day until they understand fully. Once your students begin to understand switch up the simple sentence or the item of clothing.
